On the first day of this meeting a Field Tour at Osaka Station and Grand Front Osaka was organised, showing the partners the development of the smart infrastructures deployed as well as the technologies exhibited in the LAB of Knowledge capital, that the partners had the opportunity to try.

This tour was then followed by a joint meeting with the other EU-Japan IoT project ClouT: http://clout-project.eu/

Deeply involved in the economical, societal and cultural dimensions of IoT, the FESTIVAL project had the opportunity to assist the performance of the artist Lionel Palun. FESTIVAL will indeed be later on involved (notably through the Art&science platform) in creating artistic work out of the data gathered from the IoT testbeds, and thus reinforcing the multidisciplinary approach of the project.
