RRI-ICT 2015, co-organised by European Commission’s DG Connect and the RRI-ICT Forum project, kick-started the implementation of the Responsible Research and Innovation approach, and the contribution of Social Sciences and Humanities to ICT research and innovation under H2020. It gathered the RRI-ICT community to jointly identify challenges, share knowledge and experiences, network, and build synergies around the RRI/SSH domain.

The event – designed as interactive and participatory – gathered more than 140 participants, including RRI-SSH reference persons of ICT-related H2020 projects, representatives of RRI “enabling projects” – supported by European Commission’s DG RTD through the Science with and for Society (SWAFS) programme – and project officers from the European Commission.

FESTIVAL had the opportunity to be present at the event, and to share its good practices on RRI by dispatching its factsheets on Personal Data Protection and Informed Consent. More Factsheets on IoT ethics and user involvement will be posted here.
