iHouse is an experimental smart house facilities built by ISICO (Ishikawa Sunrise Industries Creation Organization). Professor Tan from JAIST maintains the facility. The figure  below shows experimental iHouse facility.


The iHouse facility is managed using the ECHONET protocol, but within FESTIVAL, it is also being integrated with the JOSE testbed using the IEEE1888 paltform as well as the resources provided by the testbed. Figure 8 shows an example of this integration. In this approach, FIAP Storage for JOSE is used to share the data collected from sensors. It also uses the Internet to connect this federation with the external experimenter site.
